Siew Hoon, a respected travel industry commentator, launched WIT in 2005.

Her expertise in travel industry affairs, trends and issues and her unexpected takes on the travel scene have made her columns some of the best-read in the business. She is also a sought-after speaker, facilitator and MC at travel industry conferences and company events.

Siew Hoon also runs SHY Ventures, a company that specializes in “Content. Communication. Connection”. She creates communication projects and schemes for clients, and consults on branding and communication matters, including website development.

Siew Hoon also maintains a website for travel insiders at The Transit Café where she writes regular columns to keep readers abreast of what’s new in the travel and hospitality business. Her columns are often quoted and picked up by other industry websites.

Prior to starting up SHY Ventures and launching WIT, she was the editor of several trade publications, including TTG Asia, TravelAsia and TravelWeekly Asia.
