David Brett is the President of Amadeus Asia Pacific, responsible for driving strategic commercial development in this region, which has rapidly become a major source of growth for Amadeus. David moved the Asia Pacific management and operations team from its global headquarters in Madrid, Spain, to the Amadeus regional headquarters in Bangkok. By bringing the central organisation closer to the market, Amadeus is able to respond dynamically to market requirements and reinforce its leadership position.

Previously, David held the position of Director Markets, Americas & Asia Pacific from 1995, and in 1997 he was appointed Director, Global Customer Support. David began his career with Amadeus in 1989 as a financial analyst. Prior to that, he worked for an international banking and management consultancy for six years, specialising in the areas of finance and market research. Educated in England, David graduated with an Honours degree in Economics from the University of East Anglia.
