Ken Mandel is the Vice President and Managing Director for Yahoo! Southeast Asia. He came to Yahoo! in 2007 from OgilvyOne Asia Pacific as Vice President, Digital and CEO, Neo@Ogilvy, where his responsibilities included the growth and management of interactive marketing, digital media, and emerging channels in 11 markets across Asia. Throughout his career, Ken has advised a prestigious list of renowned multinational clients on their digital communication strategies, including American Express, Chanel, Cisco, Compaq, Coca-Cola, Diageo, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Nokia, Singapore Airlines and Visa.

He began his career in consumer marketing in Toronto, Canada; later he joined the Bangkok office of Shandwick Public Relations in 1994. Since then he held senior management positions across the Asia Pacific region, including Bates Advertising and 141 Worldwide in Myanmar (Burma) and Cambodia. In 1999 he was appointed CEO / Regional Director to XM Asia Pacific based in Singapore for 6 years.

Ken completed his Asia-Pacific Management Post-Baccalaureate Program at Capilano College, Vancouver, Canada and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Psychology from McGill University in Montreal. A new media veteran and frequent industry spokesperson, he currently serves as the Interactive Sub-Committee Chairman of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents and sits on the Mobile Marketing Association Asia Pacific board as Vice Chairman.
