Independent hotel metasearch company HotelsCombined is soon rolling out a new affiliate portal, developed “with partner feedback”, focused on providing real-time data.
The new portal is also being developed with the corporate market in mind.

“With one of the primary concerns of this (corporate) market being leakage of corporate travel bookings outside of their established systems, we feel that our product is uniquely positioned to offer corporates visibility over their staff’s accommodation arrangements, while giving the end-user the same experience they enjoy when booking personal travel,” said Eva Fouquet, head of business development, HotelsCombined (pictured above).
Established in 2005, HotelsCombined has over the years quietly climbed into the space occupied by large global metasearch brands. It now has 18,000 active affiliates worldwide and claims to be “one of the simplest ways to incorporate a neutral accommodation search into an existing brand’s offering”.
HotelsCombined’s technology and monetisation capabilities are being used in various capacities by partners worldwide including other metasearch partners such as Momondo, TravelSuperMarket, Pixnet, Price.com.hk and Kayak as well as tourism boards, airlines such as Alitalia and travel blogs. HotelsCombined also has established partner integrations with Google and leading regional search engines in Russia and North Asia.
One of HotelsCombined’s value is that it has remained independent and is “able to offer a completely neutral set of hotel search results”.
“Unlike others in its category, HotelsCombined is based mostly on a CPA model and is aligned to both the customer and the travel partner, ensuring it’s driving high quality traffic and helping customers find the best deal,” it claimed.
