JTB Business Travel, a division of JTB USA, Inc., and a provider of tailored travel management to small and midsize enterprises, has announced a global strategic partnership with Spotnana, known for its Travel-as-a-Service platform.
The collaboration aims to ‘enhance, simplify, and modernise’ business travel management for JTB Business Travel’s clients and strategic partners by integrating Spotnana’s cloud-based travel platform.
To meet the demands of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) who increasingly expect travel management companies to leverage the latest content and data sources, and to prepare for further industry evolution driven by AI and machine learning, JTB Business Travel has selected Spotnana as its next-generation booking platform.
Spotnana’s infrastructure will also interface with other JTB strategic partners, such as Goodwings, offering clients a range of advanced technology tailored to their specific needs.
Tosh Tatezawa, President, and CEO of JTB USA, Inc. stated, “Today’s business travellers need the most advanced tech tools and superb service, all working seamlessly together.”
Sarosh Waghmar, Founder and CEO of Spotnana, added, “This partnership represents the coming together of pioneering industry leaders, each committed to creating the best possible traveler experience. We look forward to growing this partnership to support JTB Business Travel’s footprint across the globe.”
Spotnana’s infrastructure will enable travel booking and management for JTB Business Travel clients, providing them access to global content and industry-leading self-service capabilities. There’s also a focus on cost-efficiency, particularly for the small to mid-sized companies that JTB Business Travel serves.
Geert de Boo, Vice President of Global Business Travel at JTB Business Travel, said, “Now our clients will have fully integrated, innovative technology to power their specific travel program goals and needs, promoting operational ease, cost savings, and sustainability.”
JTB Business Travel’s 112 years of experience in travel management has been marked by a commitment to innovation through strategic partnerships with rising technology companies. This partnership with Spotnana re-emphasises this strategy, as does JTB’s recent investment in Goodwings, a climate-focused SaaS travel management system that has adopted Spotnana’s Travel-as-a-Service platform to power travel experiences.
Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, Goodwings is a B Corp. certified company and a sustainability-first travel management system that helps businesses reduce their emissions. This is done through Goodwings’ AI tech stack, behavior-driven reduction methodologies, and the purchase of verified SAF.
JTB Business Travel’s integration of these two technology platforms aims to help clients better evaluate their climate impact and identify win-wins for business operations and the consumer experience.
