Travel experiences platform Klook Technology has decided this is not the right time to proceed with its planned US initial public offering, saying current market conditions make this the wrong time to list.
The company said its strategy and priorities are unchanged. It added that its business continues to grow, with total experiences booked on track to exceed 80 million this year.
Founded in 2014, Klook offers bookings for tours, attractions, transport and other travel experiences worldwide. It has broadened its merchant network and expanded its inventory to 426,000 bookable offerings across more than 4,600 destinations.
Backed by investors including SoftBank and Goldman Sachs, Klook raised US$100 million in February 2025 in a round led by Vitruvian Partners, bringing its total funding to more than US$1 billion.
Klook filed for a US listing in November 2025, disclosing at the time that its 2024 revenue jumped 24% to US$417.1 million (S$534 million). It was reported to be seeking US$300 million to US$500 million, with Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley leading the offering. Its IPO was later postponed, with the company reportedly waiting for a more favourable market.
