Short-term rental management company GuestReady Group, with the latest round of Series A funding of US$6 million, is now set to “fuel growth across Asia and Europe”.
This latest round was co-led by Dubai-based VentureSouq and Abramovich-backed Impulse VC, which led GuestReady’s Seed round in 2017.
The additional funding will be used for the further development of the property management system, to fuel growth initiatives across Asia Pacific and to capitalise on available M&A opportunities. GuestReady will invest in building out the operations team in Kuala Lumpur and is in advanced conversations with a number of regional property developers to bring their tech-enabled services to more markets in South-east Asia.
Among the new investors is Dr. Cornelius (Conny) Boersch, founder of Mountain Partners, which also has a strong presence in South-east Asia. “Tech-enabled services for the property industry are a super hot trend right now. GuestReady is poised to disrupt this market as one of the fastest growing companies in the segment of short-term rental management,” said Conny Boersch.
GuestReady Group, which includes GuestReady, BnbLord, and Oporto City Flats, operates in 14 cities around the world including Hong Kong and Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur is GuestReady’s global centre of excellence, from where the group coordinates global operations and employs more than 30 staff.
GuestReady provides services that turn vacant residential properties into listings on short-term rental platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com, online and offline. The company helps property owners to stay compliant with local housing regulations and to deliver services including housekeeping and guest check-in.
