The updated version of the app is now available in the iTunes App Store and is available for download.

Before the release of this feature, users booking hotels on the KAYAK app would have to leave app once they chose a hotel to book – the link from the app would open up Safari to complete the booking, relying on the partner’s booking experience.

However, with this new feature, people that wish to stay and book within the KAYAK app will be able to do so through an interface that is consistent with what they’re used to on the site.
