“CHI’s experience in the online media space coupled with their local knowledge of the Malaysian market, would help accelerate our plans to grow in this region. There is also much personal chemistry between the two companies which I feel is important.”

Commenting on the investment, Michiel Wind, CEO of Crystal Horse Investments said, “We were keen to invest in Travelogy because of its strong team, and we were impressed by how much they have achieved on their own in such a short time.

“The founders’ passion for their products is infectious and we believe that Travelogy will definitely be an online travel powerhouse in the near future.”

Eric Koh, co-founder of Travelogy, added that the Singapore sites are testbeds for the company’s products.

“Having validated our products locally, we are now ready to push it out in other Asian cities. Complete makeovers of the websites are also underway.”
