14/09/2010 by Zubair Ashraf

The WIT Ideas Lab at ITB Asia will once again serve up a world of opportunities from 9-11am on October 21 and 22, 2010.

Travel leaders will share insights on the latest trends in corporate travel, cruising and hotel sales and marketing. Experts in the digital space will summarise what’s new in search, social media and mobile and how customer behaviour is changing in these areas.

The high-yield segment of luxury travel will be addressed in a panel, and if you can’t compete with technology and scale, well, specialize – a panel will share examples of those who have carved out niches for themselves.

The WIT Ideas Lab at ITB Asia is open to all WIT and ITB Asia delegates, more informationhere. To book your seat, email [email protected]

How do you get people to find you on the Web which has more websites than the planet has humans, and how do you get people talking positively about your brand and use social media to drive business results?

Two experts, Matthew Varley, executive general manager-Asia of the Wotif Group, and Jon Chin, CEO of Click Media, Singapore, will lead a workshop on Oct 21, 3-5pm, on “How to make money with your website”.

Mario Jobbe, (above) co-founder of Circos Brand Karma, will lead a workshop the day after, 3-5pm, on “The Importance of Social Media to Travel Brands – How Hotels, Airlines, Travel Agents and Tour Operators Can Drive Results”.
