Top travel websites for November: Australia, China

In Australia, Wotif remains top OTA while Qantas and TripAdvisor regain the top spot in their respective category; in China, Qunar loses its lead to Ctrip, MaFengWo continues to rule, China Southern Airlines takes back its #1 position. (Full details in slides below)
Australia
The top three online travel agencies in Australia remained unchanged for the month of November – Wotif.com (12.37%), Webjet Australia (11.92%) and Expedia Australia (8.92%).
Over in the destination and accommodation category, TripAdvisor Australia (8.20%) returned to the top of the table having lost its longstanding lead to Agoda.com in October, while the latter dropped a whopping seven places to the eighth spot with 2.13% share of visits.
Similarly, Qantas also seized back its title as the top commercial airline with 20.17% share of visits, while Jetstar reverted to its previous spot as second lead (19.78%) after topping the table the previous month.
China
The online travel space in China experienced a marginal shift in the month of November with Qunar.com (13.13%) losing its lead to top competitor Ctrip.com (27.40%). Interestingly, trip.taobao.com followed close behind with 24.33% share of visits, having jumped two spots to second place.
MaFengWo continued its reign of supremacy in the destination and accommodation category with 27.83% share of visits, surging way ahead of even the second-placed hotels.ctrip.com (10.01%).
In the commercial airlines sector, China Southern Airlines garnered 18.19% share of visits to regain its title as the top commercial airline in China, having marginally lost the spot to its counterpart China Eastern Airlines in October.
