Australia
• Wotif.com (12.35%) retained its title as the top online travel agency in Australia for the fourth consecutive
month, with Webjet Australia (11.3%) and Expedia Australia (10.26%) following close behind.
• In the destination and accommodation category, TripAdvisor Australia continued to lead the pack with 6.74%
share of visits.
• Qantas (26.44%) maintained its position as the top commercial airline for the second month running. It lost its
place to Jetstar for the first time this year in May.
Hong Kong
• The online travel scene in Hong Kong remained
consistent for the month of July, with
Jipiao.trip.taobao.com
holding its place as the top online travel agency with
13.49% share of visits. Its sister site trip.taobao.com
(5.15%) also moved up the ranks from No. 54 to its current
fourth placing.
• Yahoo! Travel Hong Kong (7.66%) still reigned as the
leading destination and accommodation website for
Hong Kong travellers, while TripAdvisor dropped off the top three list to fourth position.
• Similarly, Cathay Pacific continued to dominate the commercial airlines sector for the month with 33.14% share
of visits.
Singapore
• Expedia Singapore (10.64%) topped the list of online travel agencies in the island republic for the third
consecutive month, followed closely by ZUJI Singapore with 10.42% share of visits.
• On the online travel agency front, Agoda.com garnered more than a fifth of the visit share (22.53%) to clinch
the top spot, further extending its lead ahead of TripAdvisor (6.19%) and Booking.com (4.85%).
• Over in the Commercial Airline category, the top five websites for the month of July remained consistent –
Tiger Airways (23.29%), Jetstar (15.52%), Singapore Airlines (12.96%), AirAsia (10.12%) and FlyScoot.com
(6.8%).
