HotelsCombined expands Asian footprint with Tiket.com

Leading hotel comparison engine, HotelsCombined, is expanding its reach in the Asian market through a partnership with travel reservation centre,Tiket.com, one of the biggest players in Indonesia’s online travel industry

This alliance will see HotelsCombined’s existing database of over 400,000 hotels grow by an additional 1,500 properties from the inventory of Tiket.com. Users of the meta search site will have more varied accommodation options within Indonesia.

In turn, Tiket.com will have access to new markets and to increase inbound business. leveraging on HotelsCombined’s international range of distribution channels.

“Featuring Tiket’s inventory on our site will allow for a more comprehensive comparison service, helping travellers easily find the perfect accommodation for their needs.” said Debora Santosa, Indonesian market manager at HotelsCombined.

Hendry Prianto, head division of accommodation for Tiket.com said that its partnership with HotelsCombine.com would bring greater international content and exposure for the company.

HotelsCombined has been enhancing its Asian influence by offering its services in Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Tagalog and Bahasa Malay, with a total of 39 languages available on its site. It has also created a more localised experience for users booking in Asia, as well as in destinations abroad.

Tiket.com, which was launched in 2012, offers ticketing and booking service for hotels, flights, train tickets, events and attractions.
