Have flash sales become flesh sales?

A new Hotels.com survey of Singaporeans exposes the fact that they think Jessica Alba and David Beckham (left) have the hottest beach bodies in the world, a sentiment echoed by 17% and 22% of Singaporeans respectively.

Among local celebrities, actors Fiona Xie and Tay Ping Hui took the top spot for best beach bodies, garnering 11% of the votes each among Singaporeans.

While Jessica Alba won the global majority vote at 16% ahead of Beyoncé (15%) andKate Middleton (5%), she tied for first place with fellow actresses Maggie Q, Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson among Singaporeans.

Among the top male celebrities, David Beckham took nearly a quarter (23%) of the votes, ahead of Brad Pitt (13%) and Channing Tatum (11%).

The English footballer was the clear favourite among Singaporeans, followed by Cristiano Ronaldo at 17% and Channing Tatum, Hugh Jackman, Ryan Gosling and Tay Ping Hui tied for third place at 11%.
