So where will you be to welcome in 2015? If you are in London, New York City or Paris then you are one of the top three destinations to celebrate New Year, according to data from travel site, TripAdvisor.

In the listing of 15 most popular destinations to spend New Year’s Eve for global travellers only two Asian cities are on it – Bangkok at #10 and Singapore at#15. (see full list below).
TripAdvisor collected the data from global travellers researching a New Year break from 27 December 2014 to 4 January 2015.
Jean Ow-Yeong, TripAdvisor spokesperson, advised travellers to do their research early due to strong demand for hotels during the festive season. “Many destinations experience significant price hikes over New Year when it comes to hotels so it’s worth doing your research before deciding on where to head for the celebrations.”
She recommended TripAdvisor destination pages and the TripAdvisor Travel Forums as they contain a wealth of information to help plan trips, from where to stay, where to eat and what to do.
