GlobalTix, a key reservation and distribution platform in the region, and Go City, the world’s largest attraction pass business, announced a collaboration that aims to provide convenience and integrated experiences for Go City customers, agents and operators.
“This collaboration marks a significant step towards solving the challenges faced by agents, operators in the tourism industry by connecting everyone in one unified ecosystem,” said Chan Chee Chong, CEO of GlobalTix.
While the partnership has been announced, reservation capabilities will be available by the end of March 2023, across all of Go City’s destinations in Asia. This new partnership will take effect in Go City’s destinations in APAC, including Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul and Sydney.
Baidi Li, SVP Commercial APAC of Go City added, “This new alliance will streamline the booking process for agents and operators to work more easily with us, while also helping travellers access attractions, tours and experiences across the region.”
At the moment, Go City has two decades worth of industry experience and operates in more than 30 destinations around the world. The company offers a single pass for one price on their app. Ideally, Go City’s partnership with GlobalTix should increase visibility of their services to new segments of the tourism market.
As mentioned, the idea behind the collaboration is to benefit the entire ecosystem including travellers, operators, and agents. Here’s what that means:
On the business side of things, the new partnership allows agents to purchase Go City products directly on GlobalTix’s platform. Go City Explorer and All-Inclusive Passes are available on GlobalTix’s platform, giving agents direct access to purchase passes in real-time.
Additionally, the collaboration offers Go City the opportunity to benefit from GlobalTix’s network of over 2,500 agents and resellers.
