According to Roomorama, the service is the first of its kind in the short-term rental market that enables travellers to book an apartment or home as easily as for a hotel room. Users just need to enter their travel dates to see the available properties, make the bookings, which are instantly confirmed.

Currently, the service is only available for selected properties in over 15 European destinations that include Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Roomorama will soon expand this service in all its 5,000 destinations worldwide.

No waiting and you get your confirmation in real time, Obviously this service makes us very excited for our users, who will still be able to enjoy what Roomorama offers without sacrificing the efficiency of a hotel room booking,” said Federico Folcia, Roomorama’s co-founder and CEO.

To make this service and its short-term accommodations more accessible to travellers in Asia, Roomorama has teamed up with meta search site, Wego, with the listings available on the latter’s vacation rental section of the site.

Wego currently compares 400,000 holiday rental options in 16,000 destinations. With this partnership Roomorama will provide Wego users with a large inventory of up to 100,000 unique travel accommodations located in more than 5,000 destinations around the world.
