Asia’s top travel tech leaders to recognize innovators who redefined post-pandemic travel

The Asia Travel Technology Industry Association (ATTIA) and Web in Travel (WiT) have unveiled the prestigious panel of judges for the inaugural Travel Changemakers Awards 2023.

The awards aim to honor trailblazers who harnessed technology to drive a sustainable travel resurgence post-pandemic. The winners, to be announced at WiT Singapore from 2nd to 4th October 2023, will showcase their dedication to environmental responsibility, meaningful community engagement, and discovery of hidden gems for travelers.

Moreover, they will be celebrated for their focus on repurposing existing assets instead of creating anew, while prioritizing diversity and inclusion in their transformative initiatives. The awards will recognise travel professionals who built back better.

Chis Kerin, Managing Director of ATTIA, expressed delight in the overwhelming support from the travel tech industry for these awards and the assembly of such a prestigious judging panel. He believes their collective expertise will uphold the submissions to the highest standards.

“We are delighted by the support demonstrated by the travel tech industry for these awards and are equally thrilled to have assembled such an esteemed judging panel,” said Kerin. “With their collective expertise, we are confident that the submissions will be held to the highest possible standards.”

Yeoh Siew Hoon, Founder of WiT, shared her enthusiasm for the caliber of judges participating in the awards’ debut year.

“It is an honour to recognise those who turned ideas into action and initiated programmes to build back better during the pandemic,” said Siew Hoon. “They will deservedly get their heyday with these awards, which will demonstrate exactly how the travel, tourism and hospitality industries has taken lessons learned over the pandemic to plan and create a better future for all travellers.”
