KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is making it possible for its customers around the world to book GetYourGuide tours and activities through a partnership deal with the online travel platform.
Travellers can buy the tours/attracion when they make a flight reservation, at check-in or during their flight at less then 24 hours’ notice using Messenger, KLM.com, the KLM app or the portal on board KLM flights.
GetYourGuide service offer paperless tickets, using a QR code scan for admission. Travellers get push notifications on their mobile devices to keep them on schedule with their tours.
“By offering GetYourGuide tours and activities alongside other supplementary products, such as cars and hotels, we make it possible for our customers to arrange their entire journey through the KLM platform of their choice,” says Pieter Groeneveld, senior vice president of digital at Air France KLM.
“There’s something to suit everyone in a digitally savvy way that matches KLM’s own innovative touchpoints,” he adds.
